The IDT GUI allows end-users to enable and configure various audio plug-ins in Windows Vista and is optimized for compatibility with all third party independent software vendors providing better usability during applications such as VoIP calls. The GUI enables IDT to further leverage its in-depth knowledge of what end-users want and need in their various audio experiences, to allow desktop and notebook users to experience digital audio media through a unique combination of high-fidelity hardware, intuitive applications software, advanced driver and usage model support, and worldwide OEM support. The IDT GUI provides simple, easy to find and use management of all audio interfaces and enhancements on a PC. In addition, the GUI provides a family of “mini-panels” allowing the user to manage, in a side-bar window, specific audio characteristics and applications. The initial release of the new GUI provides an advanced Karaoke Mixer with dynamic vocal elimination Voice over IP (VoIP) microphone processing enhancements and a music mini-panel allowing for dynamic adjustment and monitoring of audio equalization settings. The IDT GUI is fully supported by all IDT PC audio codecs on the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.
